Sunday Salon: Top Reads of 2009

Sunday Salon

My five-star books read in 2009:

Three Little Words: A Memoir by Ashley Rhodes-Courter
This Is Where I Leave You by Jonathan Tropper
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society by Mary Ann Shaffer
A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini
Cane River by Lalita Tademy

I'm in the process of revamping my blog for 2010. Hopefully I'll be done soon – I'm really excited about the changes I'm making.

Haven’t read any of the books you chose as yet but did see a movie based on the Hosseini book. Happy New Year of reading!

I read Cane River a couple years ago-it was so interesting! :)

I really like A Thousand Splendid Suns and Three Little Words also – great picks

I loved the “Guernsey” book, but the title leaves me tongue-tied! LOL.

I’ve read three of the five. And I’m excited about your changes…Whatever they may be.

I finally requested some more Jonathan Tropper books from the library and just finished Everything Changes. I loved it, I can’t wait to read the other one I checked out.
