This is the sequel to Bloodsucking Fiends and continues the love story between vampire Jody and Tommy. I liked it even more than Bloodsucking Fiends. It was written several years after Bloodsucking Fiends and it shows. Christopher Moore's writing has improved and the humor is sharper. The character Abby Normal, a goth teenager, is hilarious.

    Abby was far and away my favorite. And it was interesting to read about the real “Emperor.”

    You know our dog Abby is Abigail Normal Norbury. Another Young Frankenstein fan.
    I have to pick up a few of his books. I hear so many good things about him. Though no one will ever replace Douglas Adams for me. RIP.
