I think this is the author's funniest book yet. The title sums the gist of the book up pretty well. The first half I was getting frustrated with her for making so many excuses for why she couldn't lose weight but I was still laughing out loud at several instances. (Note: You may not want to read this book in public, I got some funny looks while I was laughing to myself in the middle of Starbucks.) Towards the end it felt a little like an infomercial for Weight Watchers online but the humor made up for it.

    Overall, I liked the book. But, as you know, I always have a problem when an author is being paid in advance to complete something and then write about it. I feel like you can never really trust if what was written really happened, or was set up to happen, or exaggerated for effect….I also agreed that it really did feel like a walking billboard for Weight Watchers…

    I hear you. Also, I follow her blog and she never talks about dieting/weight loss which leads me to believe she didnt stick with it after the book was done.
