Not Quite Right

Cash picks up little phrases from here and there, mostly from his TV shows I think, and he likes to try and use them in everyday conversation. At the library today the car next to us in the parking lot had a stuffed bunny hanging from the rear-view mirror. Cash asked me why and I said it was just decoration. He replied earnestly, "Tell me the true Mommy, what's it for?" Um, I'm pretty sure it's just decoration. I don't usually lie about stuffed bunnies.

Another favorite phrase of his is "whatever you do" also said with great earnest. As in, "Whatever you do Mommy, get me a snack." or "Whatever you do Mommy, come help me with my trucks." Things are very dramatic around here these days.
